Can I Talk To Daddy?

Monkey King’s been having conference calls at night recently.  Conversation that took place following Plum’s bath tonight:

Plum: Is Daddy on the phone with India?

Me: No

Plum: Is Daddy on the phone with Spain?

Me: No

Plum: Is Daddy on the phone with Germany?

Me: No

Plum, eyes all lit up: Can I go talk to Daddy?!!!

Me: Yes

Plum: DADDY!!!  YOU ARE NOT ON THE PHONE WITH ANYONE!!  I am here to talk to you!
